Skilled glassblowers gather and blow the glass dome into a wooden mold to create the shape. The rim is melted by a flame to create a soft rounded finish. The solid walnut stand is shaped from American walnut and treated with food safe oils to bring out the grain and depth of color. The wood is sourced from sustainably-managed forests.
