Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 large eggs
- ¼ cup melted butter (plus more for cooking)
- 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
Directions
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, whisk buttermilk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla until smooth.
- Gently combine the wet and dry ingredients — do not overmix; a few lumps are fine.
- Preheat your griddle or non-stick pan over medium heat. Lightly butter the surface.
- Pour ¼ cup of batter per pancake. Cook until bubbles form, then flip until golden brown.
- Serve warm with butter, maple syrup, or fresh berries.
