Details that make the difference
The Global G-1800L Large Combination Sharpening Stone provides two sharpening surfaces for restoring and maintaining quality kitchen knives. The coarse 240-grit side is designed for repairing very dull or lightly chipped edges, while the 1000-grit side refines and establishes a sharp, practical cutting edge.
Its larger format provides a stable sharpening surface for chef's knives and other full-size blades. The stone is used with water and sits securely in a removable rubber base to help prevent movement during sharpening.
Key Features
- Dual-grit sharpening stone provides both repair and routine sharpening
- 240-grit coarse side for dull or lightly chipped knife edges
- 1000-grit medium side for establishing and refining a working edge
- Non-slip rubber base helps stabilize the stone during sharpening
