STAUB La Cocotte 1.75 L Cast Iron Round Rice Cocotte, Citron

Focus on the task at hand and pay attention to detail – the Zen philosophy can be adapted to the art of cooking as well.

With the STAUB Rice Cocotte, the tiny grains get the perfect treatment. Inspired by the traditional Japanese hagama rice cooker, the cast iron Rice Cocotte has just the right shape to stir a risotto until it is creamy. And if you don’t have the headspace for meditative cooking, close the lid and let the Cocotte do the work for you: The Chistera drop structure keeps the moisture inside for tender grains full of natural flavor.

The bright yellow color of the Citron Rice Cocotte can be interpreted as a sun, the symbol of warmth and life. Very fitting for a cooking vessel that was inspired by the land of the rising sun.
